Today was consumed with driving across the upper part of Michigan that covers the southern “mitten” of the state. I can’t say that I enjoyed the long drive and the afternoon rain but we made it to the Wisconsin border when dear friend Pat Kossak grew up. We did have a nice couple hours revisiting the Picture Rocks that are part of the National Lakeshore. We had visited and kayaked in the area about 7 years ago. The place is still there and doing fine. Plenty of canoes, kayaks and land lubber tourists like us. But today was just a long drive and we are in the Central Time ZOne.
